A 12-member jury has convicted Gihslaine Maxwell on five of the six charges she faced, including the most serious charge of sex trafficking a minor. Maxwell faces the rest of her life in prison after the jury has convicted her on five of the six counts she was facing.
Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty weeks after celebrating her 60th birthday on Christmas, capping a remarkable fall from grace for the Oxford-educated daughter of British publisher Robert Maxwell, who grew up in wealth and privilege alongside royalty.
As Judge Alison Nathan read out the verdicts, she passively sipped water after slowly taking off her mask and removing it. The jury had deliberated for five full days before the verdicts were reached.

Another, who goes by “Carolyn,” said she received $300 after sexual encounters with Epstein, often from Ghislaine Maxwell herself.
Lastly, Annie Farmer, now 42, alleged that Maxwell fondled her breasts when she was a teenager at Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico.
