All the Nominees for the South African Music Awards 2021

The 27th edition of the South African Music Awards was announced on Wednesday and Amapiano’s Kabza De Small leads with six nominations.

In addition to Kabza De Small, Sun-El Musician, Bucy Radebe and Nomcebo Zikode have all been nominated for the 2021 South African Music Awards. Other nominees include Berita, Black Motion, Rowlene and Mi Casa.

On Friday 21 May 2021, nominations for the Record of The Year and Music Video of The Year will be announced.

The South African Music Awards, established in 1995 by the Recording Industry of South Africa, are presented annually, usually in late April or May, with judging beginning in November.

The nominations are usually announced by the end of March and the event takes place in late April or May, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everything has changed.
