Fangone Forest artist Patrick Mulwana, known as Alien Skin, is facing potential legal trouble after he failed to perform at a scheduled event in Mbarara. Deluxe Lounge, a popular hangout in Mbarara, has expressed its intent to sue Alien Skin for breach of contract.
According to an intention-to-sue notice shared by local events promoter Balaam Barugahara, Alien Skin was contracted to perform at Deluxe Lounge on October 28, 2023, at midnight but failed to fulfill the contract.
The notice demands that Alien Skin pays damages and losses amounting to UGX 250 million for his failure to perform as agreed within 14 days. If he doesn’t comply, Deluxe Grill and Lounge will take legal action.
This isn’t the first time Alien Skin has faced allegations of not showing up for scheduled performances despite being paid. The artist has not yet responded to these allegations.
