NCBA Bank Uganda has been announced as the platinum sponsor of the 4th edition of Auto Show Kampala, scheduled to take place from 12 to 13 July at the Kololo Independence Grounds.
The announcement was made during a press briefing at NCBA’s head office, underscoring the bank’s growing role in Uganda’s automotive and financial innovation sectors.
As part of the sponsorship deal, NCBA will spearhead ticketing for the event through its Muzuripay digital platform—a fast, secure, and user-friendly payment system aimed at streamlining customer experiences. The platform will allow attendees to book tickets seamlessly, reflecting the bank’s broader push towards digital convenience.
Speaking at the launch, Edgar Tusiime, NCBA’s Head of Marketing, said the partnership highlights the bank’s commitment to integrating financial services into everyday life.
“Muzuripay allows us to deliver a seamless customer experience while demonstrating what is possible when financial services meet everyday lifestyles. We are proud to connect our customers to the vehicles they desire and the financial solutions they need to keep life in motion,” he said.
NCBA is also using the Auto Show platform to showcase its asset financing products—tailored to individual car buyers, businesses, and fleet owners. According to Adad Araguha, Head of Asset Financing at NCBA Bank, the aim is to remove financial barriers to vehicle ownership.
“Whether you’re buying your first car, upgrading a fleet, or investing in a commercial vehicle, our asset financing products are built to support your journey,” he said.
Now in its fourth edition, the Auto Show Kampala has become a major event on the country’s motoring calendar. This year’s event promises an expanded lineup that includes test drives, stunt demonstrations, motorsport exhibitions, classic car parades, and cutting-edge auto tech.

Allen Ssempa, Strategic Partnerships Lead at Auto Show Kampala, welcomed the partnership with NCBA, calling it a step forward in making the event more inclusive and engaging.
“With NCBA’s backing, the 4th edition will be more exciting, more accessible, and more impactful for the public and industry players alike,” he said.
The show will also feature other key partners: Mac East Africa (Isuzu) is expected to unveil its latest D-Max models; Kansai Plascon will highlight its range of automotive paints; Britam will offer motor insurance services on-site; and Nation Media Group, the official media partner, will provide extensive coverage.
Organisers say the event is expected to draw thousands, including families, car enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders. With live demonstrations, exhibitor booths, and interactive activities planned throughout the weekend, this year’s Auto Show aims to blend business with entertainment and innovation.
Tickets go on sale in June through selected NCBA Bank branches and Muzuripay. Exhibitor registration is currently open, with organisers expecting high demand.
