BandLab, the world’s largest social music creation platform, is excited to announce new integrations with Airbit, a prominent global beat marketplace. These integrations enable Airbit users to effortlessly share their beats with BandLab’s extensive global community of creators. This collaboration aims to enhance the connection between beat creation, sharing, and promotion while also bridging the gap between sellers and buyers.
Starting today, users can seamlessly embed their beats into BandLab posts directly from Airbit. This integration empowers Airbit creators to reach a wider audience and take advantage of BandLab Boost to promote their posts in trending feeds. Through Airbit embeds on BandLab, producers can effortlessly share their beats with BandLab’s vast community, which boasts over 60 million creators.
In addition to native embeds on BandLab, Airbit producers will have the option to “Share to BandLab” any beat from Airbit’s extensive catalog, comprising over 1 million beats available for licensing or purchase. When clicked, this feature will open BandLab with the beat already embedded in a new post, streamlining the process for producers looking to promote their creations. Initially, native embeds will be available on the web, with mobile compatibility planned for future releases.
This integration builds upon Airbit’s recent announcements, which include the elimination of platform Marketplace commissions, improvements to their free Basic plan, and the option for users to register and log in to Airbit using their BandLab account, mirroring the process for other third-party platforms.
Earlier this year, BandLab Technologies acquired Airbit, and following this union, they successfully secured a $25 million Series B1 funding round, elevating the company’s valuation to $425 million post-investment.
Meng Ru Kuok, CEO & Co-founder of BandLab Technologies, expressed their mission, stating, “Our goal has always been to empower creators by providing tools to amplify their voice and vision”.
He added: ”This is just another step in bringing Airbit’s expansive beat marketplace to BandLab’s passionate community and a testament to our dedication to creating a seamless and rich ecosystem for creators worldwide.”
Wasim Khamlichi, CEO & Founder at Airbit, shared his perspective, saying, “This is a monumental step for both Airbit and BandLab.”
”Our objective remains clear as we continue to integrate — providing creators a platform where their work gets the spotlight it deserves.”
