Burna Boy will headline the halftime show when the NFL stages its first regular-season game in France, with the Pittsburgh Steelers facing the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France on Oct. 25, 2026.
The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CEST and will be one of seven live musical performances planned for the NFL’s 2026 International Games. The league is expanding its international schedule to a record seven countries across four continents.
For Burna Boy, the performance will return him to a stadium where he made history earlier in 2025.
The Nigerian singer became the first African artist to headline a concert at Stade de France in April 2025. He has also become one of the leading figures in African music internationally and has received a GRAMMY Award and 13 nominations.
He was the first African artist to perform on the main GRAMMY broadcast.
“Paris gave me one of the most important nights of my career, and returning to the Stade de France for a moment like this means so much to me,” said Burna Boy.
“The NFL is bringing something to France that has never happened here before, and being able to be part of it while representing African music is very special. I intend to give the audience a show they will never forget.”
The NFL said Burna Boy’s previous connection with Paris and the stadium helped make him a natural choice for the event.
“The first NFL game in France deserves a Halftime Show worthy of the occasion, and there is no artist better suited than Burna Boy,” said Tim Tubito, the NFL’s Senior Director of Global Game Presentation, Music and Entertainment.
“Paris is one of the great cultural capitals of the world, and African music holds a central place in the city’s music scene. Burna Boy has already made history in this stadium, and bringing him back to perform before a global audience gives us the opportunity to create something truly memorable. We look forward to collaborating with him on a performance that reflects the energy of a moment like this.”
The 2026 NFL Paris Game, presented by American Express, is being held in collaboration with GL events and with support from France’s Ministry of Sports.
It will mark the first NFL regular-season game played in France as the league continues to expand its presence outside the United States.
In France, Burna Boy’s halftime performance will be broadcast live and free-to-air by France Télévisions. It will also be available on beIN Sports, while L’Équipe will broadcast the game later that night.
The NFL said further entertainment activities and fan events surrounding the Paris game will be announced later.
International performances
Burna Boy joins several artists already confirmed for the NFL’s 2026 international games.
The Jonas Brothers performed at the Melbourne game on Sept. 10 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Pedro Sampaio and Ricky Martin are scheduled to perform at the Rio de Janeiro game on Sept. 27 at Maracanã Stadium. Ayra Starr will headline the entertainment at the London game on Oct. 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Cage The Elephant will perform at the Munich game on Nov. 15 at FC Bayern Munich Arena, while The Warning will headline the halftime show at the Mexico City game on Nov. 22 at Estadio Banorte.
The international schedule will also include three games in London, with two at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and one at Wembley Stadium.
Madrid will host a game at the Bernabéu Stadium, while Mexico City and Munich will stage games at Estadio Banorte and FC Bayern Munich Arena, respectively.
Melbourne, Paris and Rio de Janeiro are new markets or cities on the 2026 schedule, taking the NFL’s international reach to seven countries and four continents.
