The following is the complete list of the nominees for the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, including Burna Boy, Tems, Teni, Black Sherif, Blxckie, and Nadia Nakai.
KAMPALA | LIFESTYLE UGANDA — In the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, Drake, a Canadian rapper, singer, and actor, has the most nominations with 14, Kanye West is second with 10 and Kendrick Lamar is third with nine.
Rapper Drake is nominated for several categories at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, including hip hop artist of the year, hustler of the year, lyricist of the year, and best live performer.
The “Way 2 Sexy” collaboration between Drake and Future and the feature on Future’s “Wait for You” (also featuring Nigerian Tems) have been nominated for best hip hop video, best collaboration, and best song.
Drake received two nominations for best featured verse for his cameos on “Wait for You” and Jack Harlow’s “Churchill Downs,” while he earned three nominations for the best collaboration for his work with 21 Savage on “Jimmy Cooks.”
Kanye West earns nods for hip hop artist of the year, hustler of the year, best live performer, best hip hop album, best hip hop video, best collaboration, song of the year, and best featured verse, just like Drake.
Additionally, “City of Gods” with Fivio Foreign and Alicia Keys is nominated for producer of the year and impact track.
Among the nominees for best hip-hop video and best collaboration are Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem’s “Family Ties.” He and Dave Free are also up for video director of the year.
At the 2022 BET Hip Hop, Future is also nominated with eight nominations, while Baby Keem, Cardi B and J. Cole are each nominated with six nods each.

This year’s BET Hip Hop Awards will tape on Friday, Sept. 30, at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Centre; they will air Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 9 p.m. ET and PT on BET. A vote of music industry insiders selected nominees for 17 categories.
