One of Uganda’s most talked-about reality shows is back.
Kampala Crème, the glitzy reality TV series that offers a glimpse into the lives of Uganda’s elite influencers and socialites, returns for its third season on 1 June 2025. The show will air on Pearl Magic Prime, part of the DStv and GOtv platforms.
The upcoming season introduces three new cast members: socialite and entrepreneur Sheena Holm, media personality Umrah Murungi, and businesswoman Prima Nassozi, better known as Prima Kardashi. They join returning stars Zahara Toto and Deborah Nantongo Cleave—known to fans as Mami Deb—for what producers promise will be the show’s most dramatic and emotionally layered season yet.

First launched in January 2024, Kampala Crème has built a loyal following for its portrayal of self-made women navigating fame, fashion, and family in a fast-changing capital city. With its blend of personal stories and luxury lifestyle, the show has struck a chord with viewers looking for reflections of modern Ugandan life on screen.
Rinaldi Jamugisa, PR and Communications Manager at MultiChoice Uganda, said the show forms part of the company’s wider push to invest in local storytelling.
“We are deeply passionate about telling African stories, especially those rooted in our people’s daily triumphs and evolving identities,” he said. “Shows like Kampala Crème help us build stars and elevate Uganda’s voice across the continent.”
The latest season builds on the momentum of its predecessors. Previous cast members included singer Laika, who stepped away from the show to focus on music, and Baby Gloria Mbaleka, who exited after just three episodes. Popular media personality Etania Mutoni, who appeared in earlier episodes, also left the show.
Season 3 brings a new dynamic, with producers aiming to deepen both the drama and emotional stakes.
Brian Mulondo, Local Content Manager at MultiChoice Uganda, described the new cast as “five phenomenal women who each represent a unique thread in Kampala’s social fabric.”
“They are entrepreneurs, mothers, dreamers, creatives—and much more,” he said. “This is homegrown storytelling at its finest.”
Judithiana Namazzi, the show’s Content Director, echoed that sentiment, calling Season 3 a bold evolution.
“We’ve expanded the cast, elevated the production, and gone deeper with the stories,” she said. “It’s real, it’s raw, and it’s unapologetically Ugandan.”
Behind the glamour, Kampala Crème has also helped spotlight the country’s broader creative industry. MultiChoice Uganda says it has commissioned over 30 local productions—including Beloved, Cross Roads, Damalie, Popi, and JDC—as part of its commitment to supporting Ugandan talent on screen.
The new season of Kampala Crème airs every Sunday at 8:00 PM on Pearl Magic Prime (DStv Channel 148 and GOtv Channel 303). Viewers can also tune in via the Ka Weekie subscription, with packages starting at UGX 14,000 on DStv Access and UGX 11,000 on GOtv Plus.
