Police in Kampala are looking into a violent attack that rocked Kisungu zone, Makindye Division, Kampala District, on January 2, 2025. The attack left behind injuries and destruction.
The case was reported by Patrick Mulwana, also known as Alien Skin, a 28-year-old musician who lives in the area.
According to police, the suspects, including fellow musician Mayanja Pius, better known as Pallaso, are accused of aggravated robbery and damaging property. The victims are Nyanzi Joseph, Mugabi Julius, and Becker.
“Preliminary investigations suggest that Alien Skin and Pallaso had a disagreement while performing at a venue in Buloba, Wakiso District. The dispute escalated, leading to the attack on Alien Skin’s residence,” SSP Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, explained in a statement.
Sources say the feud began at Crysto Panda’s concert. Alien Skin’s crew reportedly tried to stop Pallaso from performing. When Pallaso finally took the stage, he made some jabs at Skin. As he walked off, Skin’s gang allegedly ambushed him.
The conflict didn’t end there. Later, Pallaso and others armed with pangas, pit axes, hammers, and stones reportedly stormed Alien Skin’s home—twice.
The first attack happened around 3:00 AM on January 2, 2025, but police from Makindye Police Station managed to push them back. A second attack around 9:00 AM caused major damage.
“The damage was serious,” Onyango said. “Five cars had their windows smashed, three houses had broken glass, and Shs6 million in cash was stolen. Two people are now in Mengo Hospital getting treated.”
Police are asking anyone with information to step forward and help with the investigation.
