Ahlam Ismail, also known as Lamu, has publicly announced her move to NTV Uganda after leaving her position at Vision Group’s XFM. Lamu, a media personality and singer, revealed her new role as the host of the upcoming #NTVTravels show based at Serena Hotel. She expressed excitement about the prospect of showcasing the beauty of Uganda by traveling to various parts of the country in her new role.
Previously co-hosting #thexzit show with Denzel at XFM for almost a year, Lamu brings her experience and enthusiasm to NTV. Notably, in September 2021, Lamu was crowned Miss Earth, Uganda, at Nyaika Hotel in Fort Portal by the Queen mother of Tooro, Best Kemigisha.
