On 8 November, for the first time, British girl group Little Mix were chosen to host the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards.
- Little Mix will be featured with its new single titled “Sweet Melody” at the awards show.

Little Mix posted the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday, with an animated video featuring the band as superheroes responding to an MTV signal in the sky.
On November 8 the Sweet Melody hitmakers will be hosting the EMAs with the presentation of the awards in various locations throughout Europe, including Hungary, due to the pandemic.
Announcing the exciting news, Little Mix – starring Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – said: ”What an honour! Presenting the MTV EMA is a dream come true, a special event.”
”We always want to see amazing shows and see what everyone has voted to win. We’ll be performing our new Sweet Melody single this year, on our second MTV EMA performance. The show will continue, we can not wait.”

This is the perfect time for Little Mix to be ready to release their new album Confetti two days before November 6th. Their latest single Sweet Melody is being removed from the album.
It promises to be a great night for Little Mix, which has received four EMA nominations for Best Pop with BTS, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
