Muhoza Trivia Elle, a 22-year-old aviation graduate, was crowned Miss Uganda 2025/2026 during a packed ceremony at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Saturday night.
She succeeds Natasha Nyonyozi, last year’s winner, who made history on the global stage when she earned the title of Beauty With a Purpose Overall Winner for Africa at Miss World 2025. Nyonyozi was recognized for her campaign on autism awareness.

The Miss Uganda finale — broadcast live on StarTimes Uganda Makula Kika channels 229 and 493 — blended pageantry with fashion, live music and cultural performances, drawing audiences across the country.
Muhoza, who hails from Butanga Village in Bukomansimbi district in central Uganda, stood out not only for her presence on stage but also for her academic record. A graduate of the Uganda Aviation Academy, she was named the best student in her class by the International Air Transport Association in 2024.
In her presentations leading up to the crown, she spoke about her advocacy project. “My project is about empowering single mothers, especially those who have gone through domestic violence,” she told the audience, a message that drew applause.
Performances from artists including Grace Nakimera, Tracy Melon and Aziz Azion added energy to the evening, while the hosts kept the crowd engaged until the new queen was announced.

Event organizers later released the full list of placements and special award winners for Miss Uganda 2025/2026.
