Ugandan singer Juliana Kanyomozi, a member of the Tooro Royal family, has shared the heartbreaking news of her brother’s passing. Her brother, known as Prince Edward Freeman Kim but affectionately called Eddy Kim, passed away on a Wednesday morning, as confirmed by Juliana in a social media post.
Juliana wrote in an Instagram post: “With deep sorrow, the family of the Late Prince Gerald Manyindo announces the untimely death of their Son, brother, Husband, and father Prince EDWARD FREEMAN KIM, which occurred this morning 1/11/2023.”
She also mentioned that burial arrangements were underway and would be communicated soon. A vigil was planned at Eddy Kim’s home in Kawanda.
Juliana Kanyomozi’s family has a connection with music, which they inherited from their late father, a skilled drummer. Her younger sister, Lara Kahunde, is an actress and Reality TV host.
The sad news prompted condolences and messages of support from friends, fellow artists, and followers on social media, as they offered comfort to Juliana and her family during this difficult time.
