On December 14, the original Blu*3 trio—Lilian Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru, and Cindy Sanyu—will reunite for a special performance at “The Blu 3 Reunion” event. Lilian Mbabazi shared the exciting news on December 6 via social media, revealing that the event will take place at the Protea Hotel Kampala Skyz in Naguru, Kampala.
“The legendary all-female Ugandan music powerhouse, BLU3, will deliver an EXCLUSIVE performance on December 14, 2023,” announced Mbabazi on Instagram. Chandiru, another member of Blu3, expressed her enthusiasm on Instagram, declaring the long-awaited moment has arrived for the extraordinary all-female Ugandan music group. The reunion is set to take place at the iconic Skyz Hotel Naguru.
As of now, Cindy Sanyu has not yet made an announcement about the upcoming show. The trio originally formed Blu*3 in 2005 after meeting as teenagers during the Coca-Cola Pop Stars competition. Under the management of Steve Jean, the renowned producer and owner of Fenon Records, they embarked on their musical journey.
