KAMPALA | LIFESTYLE UGANDA (http://lifestyleuganda.com/) — Many people know about the many wonderful benefits of eating fish on a daily basis. However, many of those people do not realize just how many benefits fish has to offer. In fact, there are quite a few ways eating fish can help your body.

  • Studies have been conducted on the benefits of eating fish regularly.
  • Fish oil may help you to improve your memory in a number of ways.

Some people are unsure about eating fish because of all of the bad press that fish gets. However, once people learn about all of the benefits of eating fish, they will be eating it in no time at all.

One of the primary benefits of eating fish regularly is it is loaded with several of the essential nutrients. Fish is loaded with essential vitamins, minerals, iodine, and other high-quality proteins.

In most cases, the healthiest mineral that fish contains is omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids can prevent heart disease, protect against stroke, reduce the risk of cancer, and even improve a person’s memory.

There have been extensive research studies conducted on the benefits of eating fish on a regular basis.

Believe it or not, fish contain high amounts of essential fatty acids. Those acids can penetrate the skin of the fish and get into the bloodstream of the person consuming the fish. From there, they can travel throughout the body and reach the parts that need the nutrients most.

In one study, female subjects that consumed enough fish per week were found to have significantly better skin quality than women who did not consume fish. The improvements in skin quality were directly related to the amount of vitamin A that the participants had in their system.

Along with improving the quality of your skin, research has shown that fish can also play a role in protecting the brain. This is because fish contains an abundance of essential fatty acids.

In fact, there is a study out there that showed that participants who took daily supplements of omega 3 fatty acids were found to have a significant reduction in the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

Another study found that those who took the recommended dietary allowance of fish had a significant increase in their chances of having their memory improved. That’s right – studies have proven that eating fish can help you remember things.

But what about the contaminants? People all across the country are becoming increasingly aware of the incredible amounts of contamination that can be found in the water that supplies the city’s supply.

Unfortunately, this means that people are having to become more selective about the fish that they consume.

Luckily, researchers have recently started to discover how different types of wild fish like mackerel, trout, salmon, and so on can help to cleanse the body of any toxins that may be in the system. So now, instead of just eating fish like this to improve your health, why not add it to your diet as well?

In addition to the health benefits, another one of the biggest benefits of eating fish would be the fact that they are excellent for the heart. The reason that this comes up is that fish like trout, salmon, mackerel, and so on contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids.

These are the fats that are very beneficial for increasing the heart’s activity, lowering cholesterol levels, and preventing blood clots.

Additionally, omega-3 fatty acids are great at keeping your immune system strong. When you are looking for a great way to keep your heart healthy, then omega-3 fatty acids would be a great supplement to add to your diet.

Fish oil may help you to improve your memory in a number of ways. For example, some studies have shown that consuming the proper level of DHA in the body may help to improve your ability to think and remember things better.

Additionally, a lack of in the body has been shown to cause memory loss, so increasing the amount of DHA may help to make your brain function better.

This makes sense when you think about it because when there is more DHA in the brain, it helps to make your brain function better overall.

Finally, it seems that eating fish on a regular basis can also benefit your scalp and hair. The reason why this is because omega 3 fatty acids are considered to be good for your hair. They are known to promote sebum production, which is what makes hair grow.

However, when your scalp is over-treated with sebum, it can actually lead to dandruff and other types of scalp conditions. Therefore, if you do not want to suffer from these problems, then you should definitely consider including oily fish in your diet on a regular basis.
