Ugandan artist Bruno K has announced a new chapter in his music career, naming Lubega Roger—best known as the manager of singer Spice Diana—as his new representative.
The singer, born Bruno Kiggundu, made the announcement during a live TikTok broadcast of his popular Ekiboozi show, telling fans that he is placing his trust in one of the country’s most established music managers.
“This time, I’ve found someone fantastic to manage my music,” Bruno said. “Manager Roger told me he’d end the disrespect I’ve faced and give my work the attention it deserves.”
The move comes after a turbulent spell for Bruno K, who has faced a series of legal and professional challenges in recent years. His most publicised battle involved Black Market Records, a U.S.-based music label, which he accused of stripping him of creative control.
Earlier this year, Uganda’s High Court ruled in Bruno K’s favour, ordering the label to pay 130 million Ugandan shillings in damages. The case became a symbol of what many local artists describe as a wider struggle for ownership and artistic freedom within the East African music industry.

Roger’s decision to work with Bruno appears to mark a shift for the Source Management boss, who has managed Spice Diana since her breakout success.
“Roger told me he was disappointed in the way people treated me,” Bruno said during the livestream. “We had a meeting, and soon there will be a press conference where he’ll officially unveil both of us as his artists.”
No formal contract details have been released yet, but fans online have welcomed the development, many expressing hope that the partnership will help Bruno K regain momentum after a difficult stretch in his career.
