Abdallah Mubiru has temporarily launched his national team task as coach Uganda Cranes by appointing a 30-man team to play Somalia on the 27th July and 3rd August for the CHAN Qualifiers 2020.
The non-residential training session will start at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo at 10 am this Sunday.
On Saturday 20th July in Hoima, the Uganda Cranes team will play a game on their regional tour against the Kitara Region Select.
The named CHAN Qualifiers 2020 squad to face Somalia consists of 5 goalkeepers, 9 defenders, 12 midfielders and 4 strikers.

The qualification of the 2020 African Nations Championship is a men’s football competition that decides on the participating teams of the 2020 African Nations Championship.
Only national team players who play in their own domestic league are qualified to compete in the tournament.
A total of 16 teams, including Cameroon which automatically qualify as hosts, qualify for the final tournament.
