Nigerian singer Omah Lay and Justin Bieber have teamed up for the new song ‘Attention’. The song comes with a video directed by Colin Tilley, in which the pair enjoy a bonfire party.

Omah Lay’s new single, “Attention,” features Justin Beiber. It follows his previous singles “Free My Mind” and “Understand.”
The video, directed by Colin Tilley, shows the pair enjoying a bonfire party.
In addition to being the first single from Omah Lay this year, ‘Attention’ also marks the beginning of the Afro-fusion act’s debut album, Boy Alone, scheduled for release in April.
The song ‘Attention’ by Omah Lay was produced by Harv, who worked on Justin Bieber’s ‘Peaches’.
‘Attention’ marks Justin Bieber’s second collaboration with a top Nigerian artist following his appearance on Wizkid and Tems’ chart-topping ‘Essence’ remix last year.
‘Attention’ is themed around its main character’s love-me-plea to their love interest. It joins a growing number of releases by Omah Lay, including singles such as ‘Damn’ and ‘Godly’.
He is also responsible for EPs such as Get Layd and What Have We Done.
Omah Lay has established himself as one of the most recognisable faces of African pop music. In December, Africa-facing streaming platform Boomplay ranked Lay among the top three most-streamed artists in Nigeria.
At the 14th Headies, the musician won the Next Rated Award over fellow Nigerian acts Tems, Oxlade and Bella Shmurda. He has worked with Afrobeats legends such as Wizkid, Adekunle Gold, and Olamide.

On the other hand, Omah Lay has confirmed a world tour to promote his next album. He will begin by travelling to Sydney in Australia on 1 April.
He will then travel to Norway, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Poland before ending the tour in the Netherlands on 26 June.
