Sheilah Gashumba took to social media, specifically X, to announce the end of her relationship with singer Rickman Manrick.
After breaking up with Ali Marcus Lwanga, also known as God’s Plan, in 2020, Sheilah, a well-known former media personality and social media influencer, began dating Rickman.
Their relationship faced criticism early on from both netizens and Sheilah’s father, Frank Gashumba, but they managed to stay together through it all.
In a statement shared on her X profile, Sheilah revealed that she and Rickman had decided to part ways after much thought and consideration.
She emphasized that they made this decision mutually and with respect for each other’s paths.
Sheilah also made it clear that she is single now and not looking for a new relationship at the moment. She’s focusing on herself, her career, and nurturing her friendships.
She said, ” After much reflection and thoughtful consideration, Rickman Manrick and I have mutually decided to part ways. While this decision may come as a shock to some of you, we would like to assure you that it was reached with respect and understanding for each other’s paths. Our relationship has been a journey filled with love, laughter, and growth, and we are immensely grateful for the experiences we shared together.”
