Shoprite, Africa’s largest food retailer, has announced a five-day Black Friday for customers in Uganda, valid from 25 to 29 November 2020.
Shoprite Supermarket, Africa’s largest food retailer, has announced a five-day Black Friday for customers in Uganda, valid from 25 to 29 November 2020.
Black Friday is commonly used to refer to a major shopping day, which usually takes place on the last Friday of the month (November).
As a way to build a stronger bond with its customers, Shoprite Uganda usually organizes a Black Friday every year, where they elaborate on the prices of most of their products.
But this time Shoprite is doing it differently, arranging five days of shopping for customers to access all their favourite items, including a wide variety of food items, household items and small appliances at very affordable prices.
Shoprite has announced a 50% discount on almost all products sold. Plates, cups, sodas and other edible items to great household items are all available at very affordable prices.
Black Friday deals are set for all Shoprite Ugandan stores, including Lugogo, Clock Tower, Acacia, Village Mall and Victoria Mall Entebbe. Shoprite is still urging its customers to use any of their nearby branches to save time.
Aside from the upcoming sales days, Shoprite continues to ask its valued customers to visit any of their nearby branches and pick up their favourite items from 10 locations around the world, including fresh bread or baked goods, in-butcher shop or wine from the best wine-producing countries.
Now that Christmas is fast approaching and most of the merchants are trying to increase the prices of their products during the festive season, it is a great opportunity for anyone to shop early and save themselves from the burden of having to spend more.
As one of the largest retailers in the country, Shoprite aims to cater to the needs of customers by providing them with easy access to different products and services at relatively different prices, from buying airtime and tickets to paying bills and making secure and convenient money transfers.
