Bruce Dickson Ahabyona, a product consultant, explained that the Camon 40 packs a punch with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP periscope camera, and a 50MP front camera. These cameras can shoot detailed 4K videos and are designed to capture sharp, vibrant photos even in challenging conditions. The phone also supports underwater photography thanks to its top-notch water resistance.
Beyond photography, the Camon 40 series includes a range of smart AI tools like real-time call translation, noise cancellation, auto answer, and an AI assistant to help out with everyday tasks. You also get a long-lasting 5200mAh battery that charges fast—up to 50% in 23 minutes—and a vibrant 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Plus, the stereo speakers come with Dolby Atmos for a premium audio experience.
Running on Android 15 with TECNO’s HiOS 15, the phones are available in cool shades like Emerald Lake Green, Galaxy Black, Glacier White, and Emerald Glow Green. Pricing starts at UGX 859,000 for the Camon 40 (with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage) and UGX 989,000 for the Camon 40 Pro (with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage).
