In May 2023, Burna Boy, WizKid, Rema, Asake, Beanie Man, and more will perform at Afro Nation’s first US show in Miami, following the second edition of the festival in Ghana in 2022.
Among the first wave of artists scheduled to appear at Afro Nation Portugal 2023 are Nigerian African giant Burna Boy, 50 Cent, and Asake. Other artists will include Booba, Aya Nakamura, Fireboy DML, and Tayc.

From June 28 to 30, Portimao’s sun-kissed coast will host the world’s largest Afro beats festival dubbed Afro Nation celebrating the best in Afrobeats, reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, amapiano, soca, and other Black-led genres.

What is Afro Nation 2023?
Taking place from June 28-30, 2023, Afro Nation Portugal 2023 will take place on Praia Da Rocha Beach in Portime, the Algarve. This beach is one of the most popular in the Algarve, and about an hour’s drive from Faro airport.
Afro Nation Portugal 2023: Who will perform?
The lineup for Afro Nation 2023 includes Nigerian heavyweight Burna Boy and US hip-hop royalty 50 Cent, as well as French-Senegalese rapper Booba.
Following the trend of Nigerian talent, the biggest breakthrough of this year, Asake brings his lively street pop brand to Portimao, hot off the heels of Fireboy DML, who has soared to chart fame with the smash hit Peru and its remix collaboration with Ed Sheeran.
Afrosoul singer Ayra Starr will also make her Afro Nation debut, whose voice can often be heard on tracks with Wizkid.
