Ugandan singer Bruno Kiggundu, better known as Bruno K, has announced the date and venue for his first headline concert, drawing inspiration from his fast-rising online show, Ekiboozi.
The concert, set for 16 May 2025 at Freedom City, comes on the heels of the singer’s popular TikTok Live series, also titled Ekiboozi—a Luganda term loosely translated as “conversation” or “talk.” The show, which launched on Monday, 28 April, has become a space where Bruno shares personal stories and interacts with fans and fellow artists in real time.
The launch followed a public fallout between Bruno K and fellow artist Crysto Panda. The two were previously linked through the Champanya Festival, but reportedly parted ways over disagreements about how the event’s earnings were distributed. While neither artist has gone into detail, tensions have been visible online.
Since going live with Ekiboozi, Bruno K’s fortunes appear to have shifted. His first episode attracted a wave of support—both emotional and financial. Traditional healer and philanthropist Mama Fiina is said to have donated UGX 10 million, with fans and well-wishers contributing an additional UGX 3.5 million, and media personality Kasuku offering UGX 500,000 in support.

In a post shared on social media, Bruno expressed gratitude to his new team and confirmed plans to mark his journey with a concert.
“16th May, Freedom City. I want to thank my promoter, Don’s Promotion, for believing in me, plus my manager, Roger. Team Bruno K, this is our day. Victory belongs to Jesus,” he wrote.
Tickets for the Ekiboozi concert are priced at UGX 20,000 for ordinary entry, UGX 50,000 for VIP, and UGX 1 million for a table.
The event will also serve as the artist’s first major outing under new management. Bruno recently signed with Roger Lubega of Source Management, a move he says will help him scale his music career with greater structure and support.
