Ugandan singer Irene Ntale has set a date for her wedding to fiancé Vincent Kalibbala, marking the latest step in a relationship she has largely kept out of the public eye.
The couple will tie the knot on 17 October 2025. The announcement followed a bridal photoshoot where Ntale shared images of the two dressed in wedding attire.
Posting on Instagram, the former Swangz Avenue artist wrote: “SaveTheDate. Becoming MrsK.”

Ntale and Kalibbala first met in 2016 and were friends for years before becoming a couple. She confirmed in late September that the wedding was coming soon, sharing the date with fans in her social media update.
Kalibbala proposed in November 2024 while the couple were on holiday. A few weeks later, in January 2025, Ntale hosted him and his family for a kukyala — a traditional introduction ceremony in Uganda where a man is formally presented to the bride’s family. Earlier this month she also celebrated with a bridal shower.
Ntale, known for blending R&B, reggae and acoustic soul, built her name at Swangz Avenue before moving on to a solo career. In 2019 she became the first Ugandan artist to sign with Universal Music Group Nigeria, a deal she announced with the release of her single Nyamba.
