Singer Winnie Nwagi has renewed her contract with Swangz Avenue, a talent management company.
KAMPALA | LIFESTYLE UGANDA — The recording label has announced that singer Winnie Nwagi has renewed her contract with Swangz Avenue.
The singer, who has been with the record label since 2014, has been in a number of controversies, including notes of explicit dressing and violence, but according to the latest information, she has renewed her contract and secured a future with talent management company Swangz Avenue.
Swangz Avenue said: ”We are pleased to extend our working relationship with the super talented Winnie Nwagi for a long time,”.
The singer has been with the record label for the past six years, recording many hits including breakthrough song, #Musawo, #Kano Kozze, #Embeera, #Jangu, #Mataala, #Kibulami and #Magic among others.
She has also collaborated with a number of other artists, including Amaaso featuring Vinka, which was later remixed with Fefe Bbusi and the Myth, Science ft King Saha, Oyitayo ft Chozen Blood, Bwogana with Racheal Ray and a recent Kwata Essimu featuring Free Boy.
Singer Nwagi recently broke the internet when she posted a series of photos in swimsuits, but to prove that it was not a bug, she posted more photos.
Recently, there have been rumors of a possible fallout between Winnie Nwagi and Swangz Avenue, which prides itself on having a good record and adhering to good manners, but the latest development of renewing her contract has trashed all the media reports.

Winnie Nwagi was renowned for being the second runner in 2014 after she participated impressively in the Coca Cola Rated Next. She was then drawn to the attention of Swangz Avenue, a talent management company, which decided to sign an agreement with her.

Nwagi is now one of the most successful musicians of social media, who began to receive prizes as soon as she became famous. She is also one of the most talented female artists in Uganda and East Africa.
She has served as an ambassador to various companies including Crown Beverages Limited, the Start Times and the sports club Villa Jogo Limited.
