EFT Corporation, a fast-growing African payment solutions company, has appointed Adri Führi as its new Group Chief Financial Officer. The appointment takes effect immediately.
Führi brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services, including over a decade as a CFO in both multinational and private equity-backed firms. A qualified chartered accountant, she joins the company from e4, where she helped steer the organisation through a period of strong growth and digital transformation.
“I’m thrilled to join EFT Corporation at such an exciting phase of the Group’s growth journey,” she said. “The payments industry offers tremendous opportunities, particularly across African markets, and I look forward to contributing my experience to support EFT Corporation’s strategic expansion while building strong, collaborative teams.”

Führi previously spent 12 years at Standard Bank South Africa, where she gained broad experience across the continent and worked in technically complex business areas. Her background spans banking, insurance, financial services and technology — an experience mix that EFT Corporation says will be vital to its next stage of expansion.
Group Managing Director Mike Smits said her appointment comes at a key time for the company. “Adri brings exactly the kind of strategic financial leadership we need as we scale our operations and product offerings,” he said. “Her proven track record in high-growth environments, combined with her deep understanding of African markets and fintech dynamics, makes her an invaluable addition to our executive team.”
In her new role, Führi will oversee the company’s financial strategy, focusing on efficiency, optimisation and growth. Her first priorities include strengthening finance processes, aligning the Group’s financial goals with its broader expansion strategy, and deepening insight into operations in markets such as Ethiopia and Kenya.
Beyond finance, Führi is known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing women in technology. A certified leadership coach, she has championed initiatives that promote STEM education for girls and mentorship for women entering the tech and finance sectors.
EFT Corporation was formed through the merger of Ukheshe Technologies and EFT Corporation, creating one of Africa’s largest fintech entities. The company combines Ukheshe’s agile, digital-first innovation with EFT’s established payments infrastructure to provide secure, scalable and inclusive financial solutions.
With its base in Africa’s rapidly expanding digital payments space, EFT Corporation says its goal is to help modernise how people and businesses move money — and to do so in a way that broadens financial inclusion across the continent.
