Celebrity couple Anitah “Fabiola” Kyalimpa and Mark Ronald Mubiru are now parents to twins — a baby boy and girl named Seth and Rumi.

The couple confirmed the news on Tuesday, June 17, after days of speculation on social media.

In a series of photos posted on Instagram, the two appeared beaming as they held their newborns. “And then we were four,” Fabiola wrote in the caption. “A perfect little boy and girl have made us parents. We’re so grateful to God for this double miracle in our home. We’re beyond blessed and so in love with our family. I’m a Nalongo now.”

Mark shared his own words: “Double the joy, double the love in our home. Welcome to the world, Seth & Rumi (13/06/25) — you changed our lives forever.”

The news comes after months of Fabiola staying away from the public eye, prompting speculation among fans. The couple, who tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in 2022, had not publicly announced the pregnancy.

The ceremony — known as okugamba obugyenyi — is a traditional introduction in Buganda culture, where the groom pays the bride price and fulfills other customary requirements before the formal wedding.

Since confirming the birth, the couple has received an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities and fans.

Sheebah was among the first to react, writing: “Oh I’m so HAPPY FOR YOU FAB. You are going to feel another KIND OF LOVE DEEP LOVE. Congratulations to the both of you. May God protect your angels.”

Musician Baby Gloria wrote: “Congratulationss Mama. This is literally the cutesttttt.”

Singer Irene Ntale commented: “Awwwww See God. Congratulations to you both.”

Winnie Nwagi simply added: “Congratulations. Nalongo.”

Other well-wishers included A Pass (“This is lovely. Congratulations”), Sasha Vybz (“Congratulations my people. Double win”), and Etania, Rabadaba, Lilian Mbabazi, and Prima Kardashi — all chiming in with “Congratulations.”

Fabiola first made her mark in Ugandan media in 2014, when she launched Be My Date on NTV. The show quickly became one of the country’s most-watched entertainment programs, earning her the 2015 Buzz Teeniez Award for Best Female TV Personality.

Since then, she’s become one of Uganda’s most recognizable media figures, working with major brands like CAT Footwear, MTN Pulse, Jumia Uganda, Lux Belaire, Virginia Black, and others.

With the birth of Seth and Rumi, Fabiola and Mark begin a new chapter — one that’s already captured the attention of many across the country.
