Ethiopian Airlines said Thursday that the black boxes on the Boeing 737 MAX 8 crashed in Ethiopia had been sent to France for analysis.
The Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Voice Recorder Cockpit (CVR) have flown to Paris for investigation from an Ethiopian delegation headed by the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB).– the airline said in a statement
Ethiopia said on Wednesday that it would send the FDR and the CVR to France because the country in Eastern Africa lacks the facilities to analyze the cause of the fatal disaster.
The devices from the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft manufactured in the United States will be tested by the BEA air accident investigation office in France.
Analysts supported the decision to send black boxes to France by Africa’s biggest airline – Ethiopian airline.
