“Coffee” singer Kelly Rowland, 39, and her husband, 38 are already parents to their 5-year-old son Titan.

In a recent interview with Rowland, she and Weatherspoon had been thinking for a while about having another child but did not engage in family planning until the isolation began.

“We were talking casually about this, and then Covid happened, and we’ll see what happens,” the Lay It on Me singer told Women’s Health magazine. She added that she quickly became pregnant as soon as she started trying for a second child.

Despite her gratitude, the singer said she was reluctant to reveal her pregnancy during a turbulent year for the coronavirus infection, racial injustices, political unrest and many others.

“But you still want to remind people that life is important,” Rowland said of why she decided to make an announcement.

She added: “Being able to have one more baby. I’m knocking on 40’s door in February. It means a lot to me to take care of myself. The “Motivation” singer also provoked her reluctance at the request of her fans for a fifth solo album.

“I was thinking, God, my fans would be so disappointed. They wanted an album at first, but they got a baby!” Rowland said.

She added: “I found this,‘ I have to figure this out, so they get both. ’” However, the singer has not released any details about the next album.
