Ugandan media personality and digital influencer Sheilah Gashumba today announced her debut as a professional disc jockey under the stage name DJ Lil Stunner. At 29 years old, Sheilah is ready to bring her high‑energy style and deep love for African music to dance floors across the continent and beyond.
Sheilah grew up in front of the camera—TV, radio and online—starting at age eight. Over the years, she’s earned a reputation as one of East Africa’s most influential media personalities, known for her fashion sense, brand partnerships and energetic event hosting.
When COVID‑19 lockdown hit, she began one‑on‑one DJ lessons with DJ Ediwizzy Selekta. Then, in 2024, she enrolled at RISE Academy in Johannesburg—one of the top DJ schools in Africa—juggling classes with a busy work schedule. There she mastered both the hardware and software side of DJing.
Now that she’s official, she plans to tour Africa (and beyond), mixing amapiano, afrobeats, deep house and more. Sheilah describes her style as a celebration of her roots and her global tastes—expect vibrant, genre‑blending sets that draw people in.
