SABC Crown Gospel Awards 2021: The Complete List of Winners

Here is the complete list of winners at the 2021 SABC Crown Gospel Awards announced on 12 November at Playhouse Theatre in Durban, South Africa.

KAMPALA | LIFESTYLE UGANDA — On 12 November, the 2021 SABC Crown Gospel Awards winners were announced at the Playhouse Theatre in Durban, South Africa. Below you’ll find the complete list of those honoured.

A total of two awards went to Takie Ndou at the 2021 SABC Crown Gospel Awards, including Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Songwriter.

With seven nominations, Takie Ndou led the pack at the 2021 Crown Gospel Awards, followed by Ayanda Ntanzi and Xolly Mncwango, each with five.

“Best Newcomer Gospel Artist” went to Xolly Mncwango, while “Best Male Gospel Artist” and “Best Female Gospel Artist” went to Ayanda Ntanzi and Thobekile Mkhwanazi, respectively.

In the category of ‘Best of Africa Gospel,’ Zimbabwe’s Janet Manyowa won, beating Botswana’s Tsepo Lesole, Nigeria’s Cross Ugo 2v and Zimbabwe’s Minister Michael Mahendere.
