Spotify Wrapped 2021: Uthman, Azawi the Most Streamed Local Artists in Uganda

Spotify today launched Wrapped 2021, a curated list of its top artists, albums, songs and playlists of the year as streamed by its users around the globe. The list includes Uthman, Azawi and Eddy Kenzo.

The list includes Uthman, Azawi and Eddy Kenzo.

The most-streamed artist in Uganda is Drake, followed by Justin Bieber. Nigerian artists are also being loved, with Burna Boy as the third most-streamed artist, and WizKid as the fourth most-streamed artist.

Taking the fifth spot is American rapper Kanye West.

In Uganda, Ruger’s Bounce is the most streamed track, followed by Fireboy DML’s Peru, then Understand by Omah Lay is third, followed by Joeboy’s Sip Alcohol and The Kid LAROI’s STAY with Justin Bieber.

The most streamed local artist in Uganda according to Spotify is Uthman, followed by Azawi, who is the most streamed female artist in Uganda.

Then we have $hyli who is third, followed by Eddy Kenzo at number four, and Sheebah who is the second most-streamed female artist locally.
