“This is a new price that is only applicable for first-time customers, and once payment is completed for your bundle package, an SMS will be sent to the customer to confirm.”
Joan Semanda Kizza, MultiChoice Uganda’s Public Relations and Communications Manager, said that this is just one of many offers the company has for those who are interested in joining.

“On DStv Access, which is the package that this plan comes with, you have access to many great Telemundo movies, cartoons for your kids and some great movies on Mnet movies. DStv Access also gives you access to football games.” she added.
As part of its business plan, the company also announced a 23% cut in prices of its GoTV decoders, which is now shs 69,000 inclusive of a decoder and antenna, an installation service, and a one-month subscription to GOtv Plus.
Additionally, this announcement comes, about a month ago, when the company announced a 6% increase in certain subscription prices for both DStv and GOtv.
The new cut prices, however, mean that Ugandans now have access to multiple channels of their choice at relatively cheaper prices. Rooted in Uganda, MultiChoice Uganda is 100% owned by MultiChoice Africa Holdings, which also holds GOtv and DStv.
DStv and its sister network, GOtv, have been the principal choice of most Africans when it comes to watching sports and entertainment shows from all over the world for years.
Uganda, for example, has a large number of households and individuals that subscribe to the satellite to watch live football games, preferably from the English premier league and the Spanish Laliga.
