Premier Distilleries Limited, the maker of Uganda’s well-known Coffee Flavoured Vodka, is rolling out one of its biggest consumer promotions yet.

The campaign, called “Bikole Masavu”, will run from August to November and promises to give away prizes worth more than UGX 500 million to consumers across the country.

At the heart of the promotion are two of the company’s flagship products: Coffee Flavoured Vodka and Simba Gin, both sold in 200ml bottles at UGX 2,500. Under every cap is a chance to win — with prizes ranging from mobile money and airtime to motorcycles, TVs, tuk tuks, and a grand cash prize of UGX 50 million.

“This campaign is our way of giving back to the everyday Ugandan who has supported us over the years,” said Soma Rushi, Managing Director at Premier Distilleries.

“The goal is to empower our consumers through these functional prizes they can actually use to improve their livelihoods.”

He added, “We believe that real value comes from products that are both trusted and impactful, and that’s exactly what we’re celebrating with this promotion.”

Premier Distilleries is marking 25 years of producing the coffee-infused vodka — a drink that has quietly become a staple across Uganda, from city bars to rural trading centers.

The company, founded in 2001, says it hopes the campaign not only boosts spirits but also sends a message about authenticity.

“Only the real bottle gives real rewards,” Rushi said, a nod to growing concerns around counterfeit and illicit alcohol in the market.

“This campaign is a reaffirmation of our promise to our consumers. We are investing in the people who have kept us here.”

As part of the launch event, local artists Feffe Bussi and Karole Kasita were introduced as campaign ambassadors. The two said they were honored to be involved in an initiative aimed at rewarding Ugandans.

“We are so happy to be part of a campaign aimed at rewarding Ugandans, many of whom are our fans,” Feffe Bussi said.

“We call upon all our fans out there to drink and participate so that they get a chance of winning some of these life-changing prizes.”

According to the company, over 400,000 consumers are expected to participate.

To enter, consumers purchase a bottle of Coffee Flavoured Vodka or Simba Gin, check under the cap for a unique code, and send it via SMS to 6688 for a chance to win instantly.
