Victoria Atukunda will represent Uganda at the Miss Planet International 2020 finals
Victoria Atukunda, a 5’11 beauty from the western Uganda district of Ibanda was revealed to the public at the Kampala Mosa Courts on Saturday as Miss Planet Uganda 2020.
The glamorous Victoria Atukunda dazzled in a blue dress and demonstrated elegance with brains as she outlined her goal of conserving the climate.
At Uganda Christian University she is a first-year law student specializing in human rights.
Victoria Atukunda will represent Uganda at the Miss Planet International finals to be held in Phnom Penh Cambodia on 9 May.
At Miss Planet International 2020, her activism will highlight the issue of climate refugees.
Miss Planet International is one of the world’s top 7 most popular beauty pageants.
She will collaborate with the Refugee Law Project and United Nations Associations in Uganda to put out stories of refugees who have been forced out of their homes because of climate change.
The goal is to meet the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations in the protection of the environment for future generations.
