The British music award presented this year celebrates achievements in ‘music of black origin’, including hip hop, grime, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music.
Additionally, Wizkid and Rema were nominated for another award in the ‘Best International Act’ category as well, competing against Kanye West, Drake, Lil Nas X, and Megan Thee Stallion, among others.
