Maleek Berry, a British-Nigerian record producer and recording artist, will perform for the first time in Uganda at Blankets and Wine 2018.
KAMPALA | LIFESTYLE UGANDA (https://lifestyleuganda.com/) — As we wind up 2018 in style, the organizers of Blankets and Wine 2018 announced another edition at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on Sunday, 16 December.
This time around, Maleek Shoyebi, known professionally by his stage name as Maleek Berry, was tipped to grace the event as we count to the end of the year.
Berry’s gonna make his debut in Uganda, but it’s not the first time he’s in the Pearl of Africa, Uganda.
In October, Maleek, was part of the team that camped at the Chobe Safari Lodge in Murchison, when the American rapper, Kanye West, visited the national park.

Maleek Shoyebi, 31, is a British – Nigerian record producer and recording artist, professionally known as Maleek Berry.
After his break into the spotlight in 2012, Maleek Berry was nominated for the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards in the category of ” Music Producer of the Year.”
In addition to recording his own music, Maleek Berry has teamed up with leading artists such as Wizkid, Davido, Wale, Fuse ODG, Runtown and Iyanya and produced songs.
In 2017, he was nominated for the annual MOBO Awards in the best male category.
Songs like Kontrol and Been Calling, off his Summer Last Daze album, proved to be his biggest hits among his fans in Uganda.
Among others, Berry will share the stage with local artists Irene Ntale, Farouq Farouq and Tamba.
