Sylvia is no stranger to the world as she has represented Uganda in many international pageants such as Miss World and Miss Global International.
As the title of the competition suggests, talented married women from different countries have been competing for the title of Mrs World since its inception in 1985.
Sylvia has emerged as a strong contender to represent Uganda and will be joined by her predecessors Mrs World Uganda 2011, Crystal Newman and Mrs World Uganda 2009, Halima Namakula.
Sylvia Namutebi is married to Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group.
She has been the driving force behind the revival of the Miss Uganda pageant & played a key role in the campaign that saw Quinn Abenakyo crowned as the World Beauty Africa in 2018-2019.
She holds a degree in Human Resource Management and is interested in the philanthropy she does through the Talent Africa Foundation.

Where is Mrs World 2021 taking place?
Sri Lanka will host the International Beauty Contest Mrs World 2021 later this year, which will boost the island’s tourism industry, Ms Caroline’s Jurie announced on Wednesday.
Cited in local media reports, Jurie said the event will be held in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, in March 2021 and will receive participants from more than 80 countries and regions, as well as guests from around the world.
This is the first time that Sri Lanka has hosted such a high profile international beauty pageant.
At last year’s competition in Las Vegas, the Sri Lankan Jurie was crowned Mrs World 2020.
In 1984, the current Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake also won the title for the first time in Queensland, Australia.
