This year’s All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs) nominee list has been released in anticipation of the 2021 edition of the event in Lagos, Nigeria from 19-21 November.

KAMPALA | LIFESTYLE UGANDA (https://lifestyleuganda.com/) — As part of the advance preparation ahead of the upcoming 2021 edition of the pan-African event, the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs) have released their nominees‘ list.

  • Voting for 2021 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMAs) songs and artists is now underway.

More than 400 songs, representing 30 continental categories and 10 regional categories, are included in the list.

Blaq Diamond tops the nominations with eight nods for their track ‘SummerYoMuthi’, followed by fellow South African act Focalistic with seven nominations, and Nigerian act Wizkid with six.

Hadja Kobele, a member of the 13-member AFRIMAs international jury, told reporters that they have given Africans and the world the very best nominations and songs.

“We believe we provided Africans and the world with the very best nominations and songs based on the 8,880 songs we received under the year in review,” Hadja Kobele, a member of the 13-member AFRIMAs international jury, said.
