Makerere University student, Rose Basemera who is pursuing a bachelor of records and archives management has launched her own clothing brand – ROM3RA clothing.

If you’re a keen follower of African fashion or a trend-setter with #MadeInAfrica hashtag on Instagram, Twitter then you will without any doubt, love Rose Basemera’s ROM3RA clothing pieces.

Makerere University student Rose Basemera, who recently featured on Lifestyle Uganda’s STAR SIGHTING edition, is using her fashion influence for good and inspire others.

The on-demand swimwear model, who doubles as Savana Boulevard Uganda Brand Ambassador, is an award-winning sports personality, Miss Conservation Bunyoro, and a basketball player for Team Lioness, has launched her new clothing brand — ROM3RA.

You may not be familiar with the brand, but if your a frequent follower of the Star Fashion Magazine March cover-girl, then you probably have seen the word ROM3RA making rounds on her account or within your feeds.

Speaking to LifestyleUG, Basemera said;

It all started with this thing, I used to do with pieces of cloths, I would change them to my own designs and whenever I took pics in them. People could ask me where to get them. It was so common so I got this moral to do it

ROM3RA clothing, which is derived from her name Rose Basemera, includes a collection of cool pieces for everyone (men, women and children).

On Instagram, Basemera described ROM3RA as a ‘unique clothing brand that envelopes men, women and children. It is diversely Made in Africa’.

Basemera is a trend-setter in her own way, she likes to put on all types of trends often at the same time and still manages to look good. Sometimes she goes traditional and still makes a statement – Her Instagram says it all.

Her effortlessly little bit of sassy and classy style has become something worth mentioning and proud of.

She joins sassy rapper and talented singer Stella Mwangi who also launched a clothing brand, Vaakiafrika (wear African) speaking of African print fashions.
