Diamond Platnumz, a Tanzanian recording artist, has been added to the cast of Netflix’s first African reality series “Young, Famous and African”.

KAMPALA | LIFESTYLE UGANDA — ‘Young, Famous and African’, Netflix first African series, has confirmed that Tanzanian recording artist Abdul Naseeb, better known as Diamond Platnumz, will join the cast.
‘Young, Famous, and African’ is set to be aired on Netflix South Africa (https://twitter.com/NetflixSA) and Netflix Nigeria (https://twitter.com/NetflixNaija) in the first-ever African reality TV show to be shown on those channels.
Diamond Platnumz is slated to appear in a recurring role for Netflix’s Young, Famous and African series, alongside his ex-wife, South African based socialite Zari Hassan.

Young, Famous and African will star Diamond Platnumz, Zari Hassan, Annie Idibia, Swanky Jerry, Nadia Nakai, Khanyi Mbau, Andile Ncube and Naked DJ, alongside other African stars that have yet to be announced.
Netflix hasn’t provided any further details about the reality show. ‘Young, Famous, and African’ is produced by Peace Hyde.
