Following a period of uncertainty around the world that brought the world to its knees, most countries were placed under severe lockdown, and the Gospel Music Powerhouse is set to stage its first virtual, world-class concert, the latest in a series of offerings, MTN Joyous Celebration 24.
Evangelical music enthusiasts and MTN Joyous celebration supporters and followers will be treated to an evening of beautiful sounds that they like from the comfort of their own homes as the group present selected music and songs on a 90-minute high-energy show, their 2020 album, The Rock.
According to founding member Lindelani Mkhize: ” We are delighted to be back on stage and most importantly to inform our fans that we are back. The Covid-19 pandemic has delayed our rock, (fans), casual spectacle and extravaganza from performing on their doorsteps with the annual nationwide tour. The advantage of live streaming the concert is that it can simultaneously connect with the wider happy family around the world.”

This is what the co-founder Pastor Jabu Hlongwana said about the next show: ” covid-19 brought the world to its knees in 2020, resulting in widespread suffering over the past 9 months. We have seen our neighbours and loved ones perish, people are losing their livelihoods, and it was hard for us to be a storehouse of physical leaning and comfort and reassurance.”
”We hope the previous year’s Joyous reviews and collection of albums were a welcome alternative, and today we are grateful that we can come to our fans and say we’re back! We are back, and we are still determined to comfort and heal those whose spirits need to be raised. ”

The 90-minute extravaganza will air live on Sunday, October 25 at 19H00. As part of this experience, buy your ticket at R120 for one ticket at the ComputTicket or Shoprite / Checkers stores, which gives you access to the live stream show.
Value addition for South Africa MTN customers is that their show tickets will include data to stream the show as a thank you. Ticket holders still have the benefit of being able to view and access the live stream post for up to 48 hours.
